Jetstream Model A
From its introduction in 1968 the Jetstream Model A has been one of the
most successful Double Nozzle machines ever produced, reliability and
simplicity of use have been it's greatest assets.
Designed specifically for use in a permanently installed system, the
Jetstream Model A is operated by simply opening a supply valve. The
pre-programmed wash cycle produces excellent results using multi-stage
or single stage oil washing. Close monitoring of the machine is not
essential leaving personnel free to perform other duties.
No confusion can arise over which tanks are fully washed, partially washed or which
particular wash band has been achieved.
When the supply valve is opened, no futher adjustment is necessary until the set cycle
time has passed, usually 60 minutes providing adequate supply pressure
and stripping have been maintained.
A major advantage of the Jetstream Model A, as with all the Dasic range
of tankwashing machines, is it's total flexibility. It can be mounted
under the deck head by means of the Dasic Free Standing Unit which fits
into a standard size tankwashing opening or at mid height or bottom
mounted in an inverted position and supplied by 80 mm bore pipe. This
flexibility enables optimum positioning of the machines for maximum
coverage, a serious consideration particularly in the large and complex
construction of wing tanks for Ore/Oil carriers. For OBO carriers the
machine may be used in conjunction with the hatch mounted Dasic Swing
Arm Unit.
