Jet-lift tripod
The Dasic Jet-lift tripod is a very robust yet lightweight lifting rig. It is specifically designed and manufactured as an ancillary aid  for the removal and installation of tank washing equipment.

The principe of Jet-lift is a well established method of lifting and lowering awkward loads. The stable base formed by the three adjustable feet coupled with the unit's height enables drop pipes up to 5 metres long to be raised or lowered easily and safely, using a fail-safe chain block and endless chain.

The Jet-lift weighs only 70 kgs and is easily handled and erected. As the legs are constructed from tubular aluminium the framework offers a high strength/weight ratio. Each unit is individually tested to a proof load of 750 kgs which relates to a safe working load of 500 kgs, and comes complete with certificate of test and examination.

Tie bars and safety chains are fitted and must always be used. Additional points are provided for exterior anchorage where necessary. The feet automatically adjust to accommodate deck cambers, and are fitted with rubber seating pads for firm grip.

With a unit suspended on the Jet-lift, the method of removal out of the framework is simple and safe. After ensuring a bottom safety chain is in position remove one of the tie bars by releasing the retaining pins. When the tie bar is clear the drop pipe and machine can be swung out between the two legs and lowered to the deck.

Important

It is essential to keep all safety chains and retaining pins in position, as directed, at all times.
